Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley was an established Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the wealthiest and most affluent. He was in Shottas the cult movie with Wyclef. Ky-Mani joined Shang Records and recorded his 1996 debut album With Father Like Son. This was followed by numerous singles including Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap suited (remix) as well as Sensimelia. These all contributed to Ky-Mani's reputation as a rising reggae artist. Ky-Mani collaborated with Praswell of Fugees for Avenue in 1997. It proved to be a massively popular cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley performed in Midem (international music showcase) when it was held at Miami in the very first time. In Midem's Cameo Theatre Marley performed a performance that was broadcast live on the Caribbean News Agency to 36 countries. Marley came to be the target of bidding battles.
